Titus 1: 10-16 Paul gives a sobering assessment of the people of Crete where Titus is leading the young church. He warns Titus that there are false teachers, deceivers, who are ruining the faith by adding human commands onto the gospel. That is why the elders and leaders, and indeed all Christians, need to be guardians of the faith.
