Vision and Strategy

We are excited to announce  a new Vision, Mission and Strategy that will serve to guide us a church, under God, in the coming years.

Living Water continues to experience increase from the hand of the Lord. The Sunday morning service is at capacity more often than not, and the 5pm service has quickly grown to over 100 attendees most Sundays in the past 12 months. Our city is also growing rapidly. Parish Council has for the past 12 months been prayerfully considering options and conducting research, in order to be more intentional about keeping in step with what the Lord is doing in our church and city. The new Vision, Mission and Strategy is the fruit of this labour.

VISION:

Living Water exists because of the love of God in Jesus Christ and his gospel. Jesus

is the Living Water who is transforming us to be a people for his praise and glory.

MISSION

We seek to make mature, disciple-making followers of Jesus Christ, empowered to fulfll his Great Commission in Albany and to the ends of the earth.

STRATEGY:

1. Explore local mission in Albany: in and from LW.

2. Explore sustainable regional ministry in surrounding areas: from LW.

3. Explore Strategic Global Mission Partnerships from LW.

In the coming months we will be scheduling consultation and collaboration sessions for each of the three strategies in order for the church to have an opportunity to engage, discuss and pray. We'd love to hear from you - which strategy might you be interested in?
