What is the Trinity? Why Do Christians Believe It?
Understanding the doctrine of the Trinity in Christian Theology from the 3rd to 5th C AD, with particular reference to Tertullian, Augustine and the Cappadocian Fathers.
All are welcome to join us in June, on a Wednesday evening for a 90 min lecture with Q&A and tea and coffee.
Each year on Trinity week we aim to have speakers who are specialists in their field, particularly in the realm of Historical/ Systematic/Biblical theology and philosophy, come and speak on an area of their particular interest.
We’re hoping through these lectures to engage believers and enquiring non-believers alike, with something of Christianity’s historical and intellectual heritage, that faith 'makes sense’.
'What Is The Trinity? Why Do Christians Believe It?'
Speaker: Revd. Dr. Richard Goetz
