Living Water Anglican Church in Albany, Western Australia, began as a church plant in 1998 and is a vibrant and growing multi-generational church with a passion for Jesus, love for community, commitment to the ministry of all, love for prayer and enduring joy.
Currently we are a community of approximately 200 people and we are in the final stages of building a new Community Store, and the Good Life Community Garden, on our site.
As we look into the future, we see God continuing to grow this community in love and new ministry endeavours. Our vision is to be a wellspring of ‘living water’ as individuals and as a community, for the benefit of our families, friends, our city and beyond.
The role of Associate Minister is a new position for Living Water. It is hoped it will be a full-time role for an ordained person, but the starting point may be part-time for someone commencing, or already partially along their Christian vocation within the Anglican Church. It is a significant role working in a team environment, responsible for implementing the vision of the church and sharing fully in the life of the church and the community. The position reports to the Senior Minister and to the Parish Council for its governance guidance and support.
